I am 10 years old and
have been skating for two years now. I started when they built a 15,000
square foot skate park in Indianapolis, where I used to live. Now I live
in Southern California, where skateparks exist everywhere and I can
continue to gain more experience.
I skate everyday,
looking for anything to grind. During the week and weekends I can be found
at just about any of the skateparks that are in my photos section. I skate
with my dad on the weekend when he's not working. My dad has skated since
1973. He can't shred like he once did, but he can keep up without
embarrassing me.
I love skaing the Old
School stuff as well as the new. My dad - he loves the old stuff. He
started me out on the new stuff when I was 8, and I just was not able to
put it all together on the vert. I tried my dad's skate, and it was cool
how my feet felt on the thing. I asked my dad if he could hook me up with
a Old School skate, and the rest is history. Now I can skate just about
anything, yet I have respect for the Old School heritage.
